When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

 1.⁠ ⁠Nature of the Tool (Not Legal Advice) The “POSH Research Agent” provided by Marching Sheep is an Al-powered research and reference assistant. It is designed solely to assist Internal Committees (ICs) and HR professionals in navigating the text of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and related jurisprudence.

 The Tool is NOT a substitute for an attorney. Use of this Tool does not create an attorney-client relationship.

 2.⁠ ⁠Accuracy of Information (Al Limitations) The Tool utilizes Artificial Intelligence, which can occasionally produce errors or “hallucinations.” You must independently verify all citations and case laws.

 3.⁠ ⁠Limitation of Liability Marching Sheep shall not be liable for any legal penalties or adverse judgments resulting from reliance on the Tool’s outputs.

 4.⁠ ⁠Data Privacy Do Not Enter Personal Data: All case scenarios must be hypothetical or fully anonymised.

  • ⁠ ⁠Personal Info: Email address and Phone number (OTP) for account authentication.
  • ⁠ ⁠Financial Info: Purchase history (subscriptions) via Google Play Billing.
  • ⁠ ⁠Device IDs: Firebase Installation IDs for app functionality and security.
  • ⁠ ⁠Sensitive Data: Structured POSH reports/queries stored in Firestore.

2.⁠ ⁠AI Processing (Gemini API)

  • ⁠ ⁠”We use Google Gemini AI to process your legal research queries. While your queries are sent to Google for processing, they are not used to train global models [if using API/Enterprise]. No personally identifiable information (PII) from your reports is shared with the AI unless included in your search query.”

3.⁠ ⁠Third-Party Service Providers

  • ⁠ ⁠Infrastructure: Google Cloud / Firebase (Auth and Firestore).
  • ⁠ ⁠Payments: Google Play Billing (we do not store credit card details).
  • ⁠ ⁠AI: Google Gemini.

Upon request, we remove Firebase Auth records and all Firestore-hosted POSH reports within 30 days.

5.⁠ ⁠Data Retention

  • ⁠ ⁠”We retain your POSH reports and account data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is purged within 30 days, except for anonymized analytics used for system optimization.”
