MUMBAI: Twenty days after the Bombay Cambridge School in Andheri was shut for non-compliance of fire safety norms, it is yet to reopen. Parents of children enrolled there gathered outside the school premises on Wednesday, demanding answers.
Late on Wednesday, BMC’s fire department gave the school permission to resort power, water supply and regularise other requirements within 90 days. On July 5, after a period of water and power cuts, the school had stopped conducting classes.
