Women@Work program at CNSI

It makes our day when our participants say that our flagship program Women@Work was Tranformational!

We had this experience with a bunch of enthusiastic learners from CNSI who challenged the age old stereotype that woman are the primary caregivers and expected to prioritize their family above everything else.

Taking baby steps as we started our journey in the Woman@Work Learning Series of 4 weeks, participants shared the thoughts, experiences, social conditioning and most importantly, defined their All, and we realised that maybe there is more that brings us together than we know. We challenged, questioned, reflected, answered our own questions, came up with our own solutions.

All of us as woman will be in different stages of our life, yet, we are fighting the same social conditioning and trying to achieve our all – creating tablespace for ourselves at the workplace and making ourselves heard. Thank you Gayathri Ramadoss and Robin Kurian for partnering with us, enabling the woman employees of CNSI with this transformational workshop conducted by Marching Sheep. We are our biggest strength. We just need to own it.

We often hear organizations and leaders talk about gender diversity and equity. Yet, often gender inclusion remains only in letter and not in spirit. As organizations, we need to accept the fact that our employees are a sub-unit of the society and therefore, to bring a change at the societal level, we need to bring a change in the mindset and perceptions of our employees. It is not just about hiring women but also giving them an #inclusive environment to grow and thrive. In a recent event organized by Punjabi Chamber of Commerce, our founder and Managing Partner – Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers), spoke about the importance and benefits of Gender Diversity at the workplace. What an incredibly energizing experience to connect with high-potential aspirational women employees of Hilti India on the occasion of International Women’s Day #IWD2023. From Sonica Aron (She/Her/Hers) personal life stories and practical inputs on overcoming self-doubt to taking bold steps toward achieving goals. The event was a true testament to the #strength, #resilience, and #power of women.

Good reminder for all of us that fear and self-doubt may be natural emotions, but they don’t have to hold us back.

Launching a Woman Development Program, Woman@Work at CNSI

It is not just about hiring women but also enabling them and empowering them to create their own table space. Oftentimes, women hesitate to speak up and demonstrate lack of confidence or the ability to articulate what we want to ask.

 

On this International Womens Day2023, Marching Sheep in association with CNSI , is launching a Woman Development Program, Woman@Work, with the intent to #upskill and empower the women employees of CNSI to hold authentic constructive conversations, speak up with confidence, and focus on their careers with focus and intentionality. A big shout out to CNSI for taking the initiative to build a growth mindset for the women of CNSI !!

Completion of DEI Certification Program

What a brilliant and Curious Batch we had for our second DEI Certification in partnership with HR Desk- FICCI Quality Forum. 8 weeks of intense discussions on different Dimensions of diversity, Intersectionality, how to truly move the needle on inclusion in our respective organisations, coming up with with our DEI strategy and implementable action plan. Each weekly assignment was a gem!

A big thank you to our guest speakers Zainab Patel Vineet Saraiwala Charu Ahluwalia and Kaushiki Srivastava who came and share their perspectives, insights, learnings, and best practices and answered the participants’ questions with candor.

And the true champions Ishita Lath Vaibhav Kashyap Sumal Abraham Varghese Leena Rajput Ishwarya Srinivasan (She/Her) @Vasudha Smita C Kapoor (She/ Her) who put in their heart and soul in these sessions with their participation, contributions, peerlearning, meaningful assignments, questions, applying the learnings from the sessions each week and truly Making a difference in their organisations.

We will be back with the third certification soon, and an advanced certification as well!
